A brief about Media Redefined

Media Redefined is an award winning social media agency based out of NOIDA. With over 2.5 years of existence and a great mix of experienced and fresh smart team members, we specialize in strategic solutions and large scale activations on Social Media and Web 2.0 for global brands. We focus on delivering ROI on social media spends with understandable and insightful reports on engagement, response and Online Reputation of a brand and its competition. Currently, we’re working on our product, Dokito.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work on client projects with the current development team.
- Closely interact with Sales team to create requirement specifications.
- Work on internal projects/ products at Media Redefined.

Mandatory Requirements:

-Professional experience in developing and working on LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) based web systems.
-Possess a good understanding of basic Computer Science concepts such as Algorithms, Data Structures, RDBMS, etc.
-Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
-Should be a fast learner and quick thinker
-Should be flexible in taking up other ad-hoc responsibilities/duties as assigned

Preferred Requirements:

-Experience with Codeigniter Framework.
-Experience working with REST API’s, especially Facebook and twitter.
-Experience working with crawlers such as Nutch and Curl.
-Experience working with Web 2.0 e-commerce systems (Catalog Management, Search, Recommendation engine, Graphics, Blogs, Discussion Forums, Product reviews, etc)
-Experience with web designing and SEO.
-Experience working with HTML5 and CSS3 a plus

Location
The position is full time & shall be based in NOIDA (NCR).

  • Technology bloggers : >12 months of experience in writing about personal technology, mobile and gadgets, industry news. Should have excellent writing skills and must have an undying desire of keeping up with technology.
  • Mass Communication graduates (interns) : Freshers with excellent communication skills and friendliness with the Internet.
  • Engineering graduates (interns) : Freshers, preferably from the computer science back ground with good communication skills and ability to break and fix a server. ;)

Alto K10 – Social Media Activation [Case Study]

The objective to start a Social Media Activity for Maruti Alto K10 was to launch, promote and engage the TG by giving the the newly launched car a human face through social networks.

Our Objectives on Various Social Platforms

Facebook

We wanted to build an interactive community for Maruti AltoK10 to share brand messages and listen to fans feedback and queries. To tap into the members and ensure them of a good conversation building a direct connect with the TG. The idea was to position Maruti Alto K10 as the car for the young generation.

You Tube

We wanted to leverage the power of video sharing and community building. And as a result, created an official channel for Alto K10 on YouTube to get interaction.

Twitter

We wanted to reach all those prospects who can be loyal followers to the all new Maruti Alto K10. The objective was to do real time monitoring of Alto K10 Sentiments and respond to followers queries.

Foursquare

We wanted to tap all the Maruti Service Centres and Dealers to provide easy access for Maruti Owners. Other objective behind foursquare campaign were:

  • Make MARUTI SUZUKI Omnipresent through virtual check-ins and tips
  • Tap all the Maruti Service Centres and Dealers to provide easy access for Maruti Owners
  • As and when any user checks-in on these locations, he will see a Maruti Suzuki Tip
  • A Great Way to Publicize and Be Present Everywhere
